I am always thinking about ways that I can show my appreciation to the people who mean the most to me, and I forget how much it means to open a card with sweet words from a friend. More and more I am seeing the value in a handwritten note inside a beautiful card that you pick out specifically for the person you are sending it to.

That is why I love the new Thanksgiving designs that PAPYRUS has created this year. With 15 new designs, there are now 60 Thanksgiving-specific cards to choose from. And if you’re like me, and writing cards for people gets lost in the midst of everything else going on, then this is the perfect time to say “thank you” to the people who mean the most to you. If card writing isn’t your thing, this floral PAPYRUS bag is the prettiest way to wrap a bottle of sparkling cider for your holiday hosts this year.

PAPYRUS cards are beautifully made (how pretty are the jewel touches on this card), with a handmade appeal as tailored to designing a card yourself as you can get. You can find the perfect card, with interactive designs and clever text that says exactly what you need to say, and simply add your own personal note. Let’s be honest, we all get excited when we see hand written cards in the mail, especially this time of year.

It’s true, words go a long way. So let’s get back to showing our love and thankfulness in ways that really matter. Many gifts are forgotten weeks after they are opened; but words stick with us. Let’s take the time to slow down and really think about the people we are thankful for, and say “thank you” in an extra special way this year.
